Caring for your jewellery
All of my jewellery is handmade out of sterling silver which is nickel free. All components; chain, earring hooks, hoops, post and backs are sterling silver as well. Some pieces include epoxy resin or semi-prectious stones.
Sterling silver will tarnish over time; each of my designs tarnishes differently and this change can enhance the design in some cases. If you’d like to keep it tarnish free, here are a few tips:
About epoxy resin:
This material is very durable and sustains it’s colour. Avoid abrasive cleaners. It should be treated like a semi-precious stone.

- Wear it! If silver is worn regularly it will burnish with wear and help keep the surface clean.
- Wiping the surface with a soft cloth before storing in a dry place (preferably in a small ziploc bag) will help keep the tarnish at bay.
- For cleaning your jewellery, I recommend dips* that remove tarnish. They will clean the whole piece including any recessed areas. With any silver cleaner, be sure to follow product instructions. If your piece includes resin or stones, check that the product is safe to use with stones.
